Mining Commission Launches Communication Strategy and Brand Manual at Kilimanjaro Resident Mines Office
In a significant move to strengthen transparency and stakeholder engagement in Tanzania’s mining sector, the Mining Commission, through its Communication and Public Relations Unit, has officially introduced its Communication Strategy and Brand Manual at the Kilimanjaro Resident Mines Office.
This initiative marks a key milestone in enhancing the Commission’s visibility and ensuring consistent, clear messaging aligned with its identity and objectives.
The newly established communication tools are designed to reinforce professionalism and build stakeholder trust across the sector.
Speaking during the awareness creation event, representatives from the Communication Unit emphasized the importance of a unified voice in shaping public perception and fostering a better understanding of the Commission’s regulatory and supervisory roles.
“This step reflects our commitment to excellence in public service. With one voice and one brand, we are redefining how we connect with our stakeholders and the general public,” said a spokesperson from the Commission.
Vision: A hub for exploration and sustainable mining in Africa.
Mission: To manage the mining industry through supervision, monitoring, and regulation of exploration, mining, beneficiation, and mineral trade for sustainable development.
The awareness campaign is part of the broader efforts by the Ministry of Minerals to ensure efficient and transparent governance in the mining industry, reinforcing Tanzania’s position as a leader in responsible mineral development.
